
Arch Bashiru Aremu Lawal, former Chairman of Saki West Local Government and ex-Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State chapter, has extended warm wishes to Ọba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
Lawal, who held key leadership positions during Ladoja’s tenure as Governor of Oyo State, expressed admiration and respect for the former governor’s significant contributions to the development of the state and his enduring legacy as a leader. As Chairman of Saki West LG and ALGON, Lawal worked closely with Ladoja during his administration, recognizing his efforts in improving governance and local administration across Oyo State.
In addition to their shared experience in government, Lawal also served as the Oyo State Chairman of Accord Party during a time when Senator Ladoja was the party’s leader. He described Ladoja as a mentor, a guiding force, and a leader with a deep passion for the welfare of the people.

Reflecting on Ladoja’s illustrious career, Lawal praised his steadfast dedication to the growth and prosperity of Oyo State and Ibadanland, both as a politician and a traditional leader. He wished the Otun Olubadan many more years of good health and continued service to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
