The Deputy National President-General of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Babalola Rufus Adeyemi, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across the country on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In his message, Comrade Babalola congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, emphasizing the values of sacrifice, self-discipline, and devotion that the holy month represents. He urged them to uphold these virtues beyond Ramadan, fostering unity, love, and mutual respect in their daily lives.
He also used the opportunity to extend his greetings to the National President-General of NULGE, Comrade Aliyu Haruna Kankara, members of the national executive, Zonal leaders, state presidents, branch chairmen, and all members of the union. He appreciated their dedication and commitment to the progress of the union, calling for continued cooperation and collective efforts towards achieving the goals of NULGE.
“As we celebrate this special occasion, let us continue to promote peace, unity, and the spirit of brotherhood in our workplaces and communities. May the blessings of Eid bring prosperity and progress to all,” Comrade Babalola stated.
He prayed for peace and stability in the country, wishing all Muslims a joyful and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
