The people of Saki West Local Government have expressed deep appreciation to Oyo State Governor, His Excellency Seyi Makinde, for nominating former Deputy Governor Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi to the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement signed by Hon. Tunji Rafiu Adekunle, a former Minority Leader in the Oyo State House of Assembly and current Chairman of the State Pensions Board, the local government acknowledged the governor’s commitment to inclusive leadership and party development.
“We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for nominating His Excellency Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi, a former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, to the Board of Trustees of the PDP,” the statement read. “Your leadership and vision for the party are truly appreciated.”
Hon. Adekunle, speaking on behalf of the people of Saki West, commended Governor Makinde for recognizing the contributions and dedication of Engr. Gbadamosi, describing the nomination as a step toward strengthening the party and honoring loyal stakeholders.
“We look forward to seeing the impact of this nomination on the party’s growth and development,” he added.
The appointment of Engr. Gbadamosi to the PDP’s highest advisory body is seen as a strategic move that reinforces the governor’s efforts to reward merit, experience, and loyalty within the party ranks.
