In a significant move to bolster the administration and oversight of tertiary education in Oyo State, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has constituted new governing councils and boards for several higher institutions across the state.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were communicated in an official letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi. The move is seen as part of the administration’s broader strategy to ensure efficiency and accountability in the state’s educational sector.
The newly appointed chairmen and members are as follows:
Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate
