Union Celebrates Judicial Victory and Commits to Enhanced Local Governance During Thank You Rally
The Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) proudly extols President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to enhancing local governance, as reflected in the recent Supreme Court judgement affirming Local Government Autonomy. This monumental decision represents a crucial step towards empowering local governments, ensuring they have the autonomy necessary to effectively serve their communities and address the unique challenges faced at the grassroots level.
Today, the Oyo NULGE family, in obedience to the national directive, stands united under the able leadership of President General Ambali Akeem Olatunji, fcpa. Ably represented by the National Young Workers’ Representative, Comrade Rufus Babalola, fcpa, and joined by the State Administrative & Executive Councils led by the State President, Com. Adeogun Ayobami, fcpa and all Local Branch Executives, State Secretary Chief Segun Netufo, and the staff of the state secretariat, the union expresses its collective joy and optimism for the future.

Furthermore, NULGE extends its heartfelt congratulations to Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin on his installment as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
