The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced on Monday that the result slips for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are now available for printing.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB detailed that the result slips, which include candidates’ photographs and advanced security features, can be printed from approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers starting from Monday, July 22, 2024. “Please note that result slips cannot be printed from cyber cafes or other internet-enabled platforms,” the statement read.

Dr. Benjamin further advised candidates to adhere to the approved channels for printing to avoid falling victim to fraudulent activities, such as attempted score inflation by individuals seeking to exploit the process. “It is important to note that candidates’ scores were previously released via the Board’s sort codes, so this physical copy serves as a secure and verifiable record of their results,” he emphasized.
The printing of the 2024 UTME result slips was initially delayed. On July 18, 2024, JAMB disclosed that three candidates scored 367 in the 2024 UTME, making them the highest scorers for the examination. This announcement was made during the ongoing 2024 policy meeting in Abuja.
The top scorers are Olowu Joseph from Ondo State, Alayande David from Oyo State, and Orukpe Joel from Edo State. Their exceptional performance was highlighted as part of the Board’s commitment to transparency and recognition of academic excellence.
Candidates are encouraged to promptly visit the approved CBT centers to print their result slips, ensuring they follow the correct procedures to secure their records and avoid any potential issues.
