Hon. Chief Tunji Rafiu Adekunle, the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Pensions Board, has extended warm greetings to pensioners and the entire Muslim community in Oyo State on the occasion of Eid Mawlid, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In his message, Adekunle emphasized the importance of the Prophet’s teachings of compassion, kindness, and righteousness. He urged all Muslims to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s life to promote peace, love, and mutual understanding within the community.
Addressing the pensioners specifically, Adekunle wished them a joyous celebration filled with good health, happiness, and contentment. He reassured them of the Oyo State government’s continuous commitment to their welfare.
“To the entire Muslim Ummah, I pray that this Eid Mawlid strengthens our faith, unity, and commitment to the values of our noble Prophet,” Adekunle said, adding that the spirit of the season should inspire greater unity and compassion among all Nigerians.
