The Executive Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Olaleye Akinola, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Okere of Sakiland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Surv. Khalid Olabisi Oyedepo III Ilugbemidepo, over the passing of his beloved wife, Queen Waliyat Olabisi, who died at the age of 40.
In a message of sympathy, Hon. Akinola described the late Queen Waliyat as a woman of exceptional virtues who supported the monarch in his efforts to foster unity and development in Sakiland. He praised her humility, kindness, and dedication to her family and the community, noting that her loss is a monumental one for the royal household and the entire Saki community.
“Queen Waliyat Olabisi was a pillar of support to our revered monarch and a source of inspiration to many in Sakiland. Her warmth, compassion, and commitment to the welfare of others will remain indelibly etched in our hearts. Her death is a significant loss not only to the royal family but to the entire community,” the Chairman said.
Hon. Akinola prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the late Queen Aljanat Firdaus and to provide the monarch with the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
The Chairman assured the monarch of his support and that of the local government during this difficult time, urging the royal family and the people of Sakiland to find solace in the impactful life the late Queen lived.
The entire Saki West Local Government joins the monarch and the royal family in mourning the loss of a virtuous woman whose legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
